I've just put my 403 on the market and am seriously looking at the Bateson Ascot or Deauville, though a Fautras is very appealing too but expensive! Can any owners who have these trailers that have the boston doors option let me know if when towing, do the doors or the little rear ramp rattle please or is it really quiet?

Also I used to box my mare in a 505 without the partition, I'd be doing the same with a new trailer - weight wise for manually moving it, if you have had both, which have you found easiest to haul around please?

I have had my old Deauville with boston doors a whole 2 weeks now, and I love it. The doors don't rattle at all, not even over bumps.
I'm towing it with an elderly Skoda Octavia, and it's a far better pairing than it has any rights to be, especially as I don't need to take two full size horses.
Can't answer about hauling it around - it tows very light, but I had a Rice Beaufort for many years, so reversing exactly under the hitch has become a habit.

Thanks for the replies so far. Another query - I see they do their standard floor and the aluminium, which is the better please? I normally go for aluminium but I believe their composite floor is also very good. Sorry for all the questions, I'm just doing a lot of research before making a decision.
