As soon as my horse sees me she starts rubbing her head really hard on me & it it can really hurt - we also have a pregnant lady on the yard & i dont want her to do it to her - she is being very rough when she does it too - she sent me flying up the wall yesterday - i dont want to sneep her but i want her to stop doing it as i think its pretty ignorant - the more i push her away the harder she does it - any advice?????

Keep pushing her away, making her move her feet. Try to keep your feet still if you can, or move towards the horse. If you need to, tap with a whip (tap, no need to hit), do this until she steps back/away.

Dizz is allowed to rub her head on my back (or was!) when I say so after a ride; if she tries at any other time, for her a poke in the neck works wonders :D

Warn the pregnant lady that your horse might try to rub on her.

Can you track the cause of why she is trying to rub?

Thanks Mrs Mozart =

i dont know why she does it its almost like her face is constantly itchy & yet i have checked her face & there is nothing there - i've only had her a couple of months so i guess its just finding her lil things - i find it a bit like she's trying to dominate tho!! I will try what yu suggested tho x many thanx x
