Morning boys and girls!

Whilst I wait for my porter to rock up with my notes...

I fancy a head cam. Don't want to spend much as I don't compete much so more to use hacking as there are some nice routes locally.

Under £15 with a half decent image and battery life.

MiniDV80, I got mine from ebay. 2 hour min record time, picture quality is fine (sound quality not great). Think mine was about £12.

DON'T get an Action Cam. They are £20-£30 from Amazon.

Shocking quality, mine didn't work for ages, finally got it working then it broke again. It's lived in my wardrobe since

B*gger!! I just bought one of these from ebay :( haven't trialled it yet as awaiting a new memory card!
My last one like Rhino's worked well until one day it started turning itself off after 2 mins when filming even on full charge but I guess they will all have problems with certain batches..

Thanks guys! I'd debated both but wondered what the quality would be like on the dv 80, looks ok though from my phone!

Attempting it with my phone last night wasn't too bad, BUT I could do with having both hands free!

And when photo bucket will behave I'll post it!

And they come with something to attach them?? :o

Mine came with a whole array of attachments, hatband, clips etc. Because I was using them for long (whole day) rides I found the easiest way was just to velcro to the front of my hat (the dv80s are tiny and very lightweight), I could then velcro it off and switch it on or off easily one handed :)

Good lord I didnt realise you could get them so cheap... brilliant.

Dont do what I did OP, I bought a cylindrical shaped one, took it on a riding holiday and faithfully wore it and charged it each day. You could only watch it on a computer and I didnt take a computer with me, so it was only when I got back to the UK to watch all my video that I realised I had had it 90 degrees out from the angle it should have been. After a few very queasy minutes of viewing I had to dump the lot!! :p

Wow! That sounds amazing! I'm struggling to find any decent phones on eBay

This is the link to the one that I bought: here

:D
And I felt the need to buy...
