Head in the sky!

My boy seems to think that the best place for his head is in the sky as close to horizontal as possible. I school him a couple of times a week and can get him to go round - under sufference with very little good grace. As soon as we head out hacking or jump - or the other day did le trec. He just chucks his head up in the air and has a tantrum if you try to do anythink about it. I do jump in a running martingale but not sure that realy helps.

Does anyone hae any suggestions or should I just enter giraffe classes?!?

I would school him whilst out hacking, get him bending and do some leg yeild and shoulder in. I would also school him a little more to get the correct muscles built up.
