I've posted a few times about a new pony we have who is being treated by a vet & osteo for gut imbalance & a bloated belly.. Has made a big improvement over the last 8 weeks. Vet also commented that he was very head shy, which I'd noticed when he first came but it had seemed to be ok once he knew us. She found that he was extremely tetchy around the pole & ears although she believed the ears were secondary to the pole. She changed his diet & treated his gut & said she wanted to see him soon (appt booked for end of this month) she said an unhappy gut can cause all sorts of pain so to see if the changes relieved the head pain.. He has been better but in the school tonight his walk is lovely & soft, the trot looks extremely difficult for him, after a while he becomes soft but it's a real effort for him.. When I got off I touched his head & he didn't like it at all. He's perfectly happy In all other ways, isn't dangerous, vet & osteo couldn't find anything else with him. Of you ride with your hands perfectly still & don't block him he is better. The other thing he does if wee a lot, especially in the school. Obviously going back to vet end of month but any experiences welcome! Thanks
