My horse has started to fling her head all over the show when out hacking. I put it down to pollen & fly's however, I sometimes think that something else could be at play. First course was to invest in a nose net however, does anyone have any other Indian tricks up their sleeves?

My horse is really distressed at the moment and even with a nosenet he keep blowing his nose and wants to rub it, he would like to run it along the floor in free walk but might lose a lot of marks. I am trying zephur pollenex from global herbs as I was recom. it on the forum but only used it for 2 days so no help yet. I will watch this post closely

We find the best way is to minimise as many triggers as possible. So firstly we keep sunlight exposure to a minimum - turn out at night - wears a full black fly head cover make sure stable isn't exposed to direct sun. Nose net when ridden. At shows leave on lorry until required and never tie up outdide. A bit of Vicks rubbed into the nose. Ample fly repellent and ask for early times in the dressage!

Good luck
