Does anyone elses horses head shake in the rain, If there is how do you cope with it. My boy must have sensitive ears because he head shakes at the flies and now its the rain that affects him.

Is it specifically just in these circumstances? And is it a young horse?
My horse used to have a head shaking problem, but after trying all sorts of martingales we changed his bit and he just stopped. So there may be an off chance its that. As for shaking the head around flies I think most horses do that! Pain the the backside, try some stronger fly spray maybe. As for the rain though, well that sounds a bit odd, maybe its just part of your horses character, or his way of telling you he wants an umbrella!
