My boy is 3 in May and seems to be very head strong now he is getting older, to the point he will knock people over by swinging his head. As much as don't really want others dealing with him sometimes it's needed. Now I know he has cheekiess to him but I think people forget his age and is learning still. I really don't want this to get out of control as I know deep down a lot is to do with it winter and he would rather be out 24/7. He is out in day with my others while I'm at work and the 3 come in later on when I'm done. Does anyone have any advise and suggestions please on how I can work with him to control this more.

How does he knock people over by swinging his head?
If they are bringing him/ putting out in then they should have enough control to stop it getting into their space and certainly not allow him to push them over, other than the odd accident where mud gets involved and our feet don't move quickly enough, if it is in the yard or stable they need to pop a headcollar on and tie him up before they do anything with him then ensure they do not stay in a vulnerable position being ready to push him away if he swings round when they are doing something to him.

It doesn't sound as if he is what I would call headstrong more ignorant of people and not understanding about keeping to his own space so time spent doing some good groundwork would be beneficial.
 
My rising 3 year old is a bit like this at the min, probably due to him wanting to be out 24/7 as well (just 2 more weeks to go ye!!!) i just try keep calm and cool and ignore but we don’t go anywhere or do anything in a silly manner. We go back a step if necessary. Even if it takes triple the time! Good luck

I'm going to get someone I know to walk him this weekend so I can see fully how he is with other people as to me I just see him a big boy who is stubborn but will listen to me, so maybe if I saw him with other people might help me see what he is doing to them.
I always turn him and go back if not doing as I want or if he dug heels in ground so he comes off balance and will carry on etc
