Hi guys,
I have a problem-ish. The mare I ride is lovely in all ways. Once warmed up, she schools so well, and is very flexible and supple. I have Dressqage next Friday and whilst practicing in my lesson this wekk, my instructor said all was great, apart from when we do free walk on a long rein, every couple of strides she throws her head up. I started to trot her round on a longish rein to see if she done it then, but didn't.
I don't think its an allegy/fly thing as its so specific as to when she does it. I think its a habit thing, but how do I break it, and encourage her to reach forward into the contact?
