A while ago I was on an internet headcollar hunt and found one with trigger clips in the usual places, but also on the side of the face to do it up instead of a buckle (it may have had a false buckle hiding the trigger clip). Does anyone out there know what they are called / where to get one? Try as I might I can't find that site again... Thanks.

I think I've seen them before as well, will try and find a link

I had one but didn't use side clip. Couldn't work out why he'd suddenly become head shy until I realised that's how the staff at the yard undid it. He absolutely hated having it dragged over his ears.
Rather than ask them to open it correctly, I dumped it and reverted to a good old fashioned one.

If you're talking about a headcollar like this...

Then yes, they are very common, but I thought the OP was talking about trigger clips on the noseband as well...

Although I like this sort of headcollar, the ones I've got only have dog clips, and my mare seems to get her headcollar caught in her haynet when she's travelling.

I thought she meant a clip instead of the usual buckle where a headcollar is done up... havent got a clue where you would get them from, never heard of them before!

Sorry, I didn't make myself very clear. it's the ones with the clips to do up the headpiece instead of a buckle fastening. I've got the ones with the clip to undo the chin strap for easy brushing etc. Still if they get caught in haynets that put's me right off. I'll keep looking. Thanks everyone.
