I know its not a headlight but the strip of LED lights gives an amazing flood of light - I use mine at the yard but also walking the dog down the pitch black canal at night & its fab!

The elasticated head torches fit well on riding hats. You can get some really bright ones. Rechargeable. I fit a flashing cycling red light on the back.

I also have this and agree it's brilliant. You can have it on just headlight if you want and this also has two settings. I use it on the strip light mainly, can easily poo pick with it as it gives such a wide area of light.

I have 1, husband has 1 and a spare. When my stable lighting failed this was my saviour but also great for non lit areas like emergency fence repairs.

I won't even ride in a vest top any more after one mortifying incident where I lost control of a boob somewhere between coming off my then horse and hitting the deck. The fact I was really quite winded once on the floor didn't help one jot either.. but that's a story for another thread.. sorry OP!! ??

I have one the same from Ebay - had it 2 years now. It's fantastic, rechargeable, VERY bright but has a less bright setting which is useful to not burn horses retinas , and is light and easy to wear

I use the head torch for hacking off road in the dark and all yard jobs. It's amazing, really bright and holds battery well. Having a rechargeable one is really useful as I found I got through batteries otherwise.
