I have a horse that is headshaking and have heard/seen that cyproheptadine/periactin is the most comon treatment and looks quite promising. I was just wondering if anybody knows of any websites that i could possibly buy some? I have asked at my vets and they couldnt get it for me and i have a vets prescription? I would be very grateful of any answers as i have tried pretty much everything else such as bitless bridles, different saddles, different foods etc none of which helped, I have since had him tested and found that he is allergic to grass, another reason that i thought cyproheptadine would be a good treatment.
