Interesting article

I always start with a larger browband

Removing flash strap - this I've found has an instant success on many horses

Removing all Lucerne (Alfalfa) products from the diet - completely

Ensuring dental work is kept up to date

Having a chiropractor to the horse on a regular basis.

The tri-geminal nerve is very close to the surface just where the cheek pieces lie.

When all these have been done then I go for veterinary help.

I noticed my mare seemed to get upset when i did her noseband up (even though it was only on the loosest hole),so i rode her without the noseband and she was noticeably better :)
She had her teeth done last Thursday so it will be interesting to see if shes any different again now thats done too!
