Nothing revolutionary or exciting, merely some headshots of Miss Stella, taken post morning jog, and perfectly chilled...

Big bully head

Looking like an old-fashioned BT

Dreaming of cheap treats and dirty hounds

And a couple of obligatory body shots. I can't quite believe that she'll be turning five in July. Seems like yesterday that she was hanging off Mastiffs' tails and attacking my toes.

Gorgeous and if she could hold her teacup with her pinkie in the air she would!!!!! Quite the lady!

[/ QUOTE ]

Hee hee. She looks like such a snootbag in the last picture

Though she has a fondness for rolling in Canadian geese poop, she is utterly disgusted by dog poop, even her own. Dirty puddles? Ugh, no. She would rather leap six feet over them than mess up her nails. Quite the lady, indeed!

Oh Stella you shock me!!! goose poop indeed! lol! Fowl (foul) get it! Pup!

[/ QUOTE ]

It's nasty. Somehow she always gets it in her ears

Stella is so beautiful and elegant - it's hard to believe that Tilly is the same breed !!! We enjoyed some serious dog watching in Central Park on Saturday, saw a couple of Bostons and something I've never seen in the US - a Bedlington Terrier.

Oh, how fun! There's a Bedlington that goes to our local dog park, and she's very sweet-natured and laid-back, not what I would have imagined at all.

In fact, you see all sorts of weird and wonderful breeds. Lately, we've come across a Feist, a Thai Ridgeback and an Anatolian Shepherd, none of which I've seen before.

And Tilly *is* beautiful and elegant, mean mummy!

have missed stella !!! where have you been prose ???

Just too darn busy to take snaps lately. All shall be rectified in coming weeks, though; the arrival of spring is far too tempting for my David Bailey fingers

There is certainly something very special about Stella.

Does she know she has such a fan club in England?

[/ QUOTE ]

I think so

My family does a decent enough job as it is. I've converted my mother from a small dog hater into a huge BT fan, and my aunt recently sent me a clipping from the local newspaper about a BT that won BOB at Crufts. I'm on a one-woman mission to make Bostons a top breed in the UK!

She's gorgeous!
smile.gif
Are their ears naturally like that or do they get stapled like doberman ears?

[/ QUOTE ]

All natural

They stuck out to the side when she was a pup, and went up at around five months. Tail is naturally bobbed, too (or as natural as a pedigree dog can be, I suppose).

And no progress with the water. She's strictly a dry land creature.

I just love all Stella piccies, my favs are the beach shots though.

[/ QUOTE ]

Mine, too. It won't be long before we're back out there. Our trip in January was fine, aside from having to wear two sweaters, a parka coat, furry hat and Ugg gloves.

She is gorgeous, and looks as if she considers herself far superior to mere humans. I was watching some American funny animal video programme on tv in the early hours (not a very good sleeper

) and there was a cute little BT on there, made me think of Stella.
