My lurcher badly cut a pad about 5 days ago. I have been putting Dermisol in it and wrapping it up to keep it clean. At night I take the dressing off and put a cone on his head to prevent him licking it. Was walking him on lead until yesterday when I let me off for a run (he was getting very frustrated with lead walking!). He has opened it up (stupid me!) again although it looks clean and not infected in any way. Can anyone suggest something that I can put on the wound to make it heal quicker?
