Arrived at stables today to find my poor boy has been kicked just above his off hind hock

Vet called and he is lame, swollen and tender (not surprising!!). Now on anti-biotics and bute, with turn out in a tiny paddock so he can't go looney!!

Need to phone vets next tuesday and then have scan done, just need to wait for swelling to go down!.

He is only 5, and has just started popping 2"9 at home and working nicely on the flat. I am so gutted
