Is any one else insured with them? ive been with them for a few years but am now having a lot of problems with claims taking ages etc. when you ring them you just get fobed off and some of the staff are rude. Any one else having problems.

I used to have them (only recently moved away due to costs reasons - Tesco's was far cheaper!!) - however, my dog had an operation last year that I claimed for. Found them to be very efficient, settled the claim quickly and was always polite/professional. Sorry to hear you're having problems - hope you manage to get them sorted out.

Thanks, They have always been good before but im told they have changed under writers and since then have had nothing but problems. My premium has doubled and the sevice is really bad am waiting for a claim put in three months ago.
Anyone else had problems with them?

Hi,

I dont have any experience with them but thought i'd pass on details of the company I insure my dogs with, i've recently had to make a claim for a considerable sum of money and they have been quite good at paying out and also have been helpful on the phone. I pay £27 a month for 3 dogs and thats for one of the better plans they offer.
They have paid out as and when they have received claim forms which i have found better than some company's who will apparently wait until the end of treatment...which is obviously a pain if the treatment is spread over a period of time!

Anyway there website is:

Thanks for that I will be looking around when it comes to renewing as no way am I putting up with this. My premuim is over £60 a month fo rtwo dogs so I expect better service than this!

I waited for two months for a cheque off them recently. Like you I was fobbed
with lies and excuses until I'd had enough and rang the ombudsman, the cheque
was there in just under 2 weeks.

You are right they changed from Amtrust to Axa as underwriters so this is where
the problem comes from.

Give these a ring, they are very helpful.

Thanks very much, at the moment im waiting for a call from a manager. my next step will be be the ombudsman. Im really disappoined in them as I ve been with them for a few years and never had a problem before but this is unacceptable.

They are owned by E & L............ nightmare insurance company

I am getting very annoyed with them now. No manager bothered to ring me as promised.
Some of the staff are very rude on the phone. I have put in a complaint now and will be ringing the ombudsman on monday. Any one thinking of taking out a policy with them beware!
