heart murmur update!

I am so happy it turns out my boy has been hiding a secret all his life, The specialist came out and gave him his ultrasound and found that he has a hole in his heart has been there since he was born and over the years his heart has slightly rotated to help compersate for this, The specialist said he has never seen this on any of the horses he has worked on and only ever herd of it as it is very rare as most horses born with that type of murmur die very early on and he said he will be fine to carry on as normal

Don't know anything about heart murmurs but glad that he is going to be okay

Thanks for replying chumsmun as heart murmurs go his is a grade 5 which is very bad in some cases but in his case because he has learnt to cope with it and his body has adapted not bad for a 16 year old
