Crying as I type this - I have two horses on DIY and simply do not have the time to do them both justice. I have bills coming out of my ears and simply cannot carry on with eveything being such a huge struggle, it is putting a massive strain on things with OH - Something has to give
They are both such lovely characters it is an utter waste to do naff all with them.
I have made the decision to sell one so that I can afford to keep just one on part livery and therefore have time for riding as opposed to poo picking, mucking out etc and hopefully begin to enjoy it all again rather than seeing it as a chore.
Neither are really in work, the lad I have advertised today and stated he is not in work, I am so gutted to be selling and see it as failing him, I just cant bear the thought of tonnes of people rocking up and hauling him round - Is that wrong?
He is fab in every way, all but hacking alone - Hes perfect in company, totally bombproof but alone he will stop and try to nap if allowed to.
So before waffling on any more my questions are:
A) Is it ok to sell him out of work, I know once I bring him back in to work I wont be able to bring myself to sell him.
B) Will someone buy a horse that doesnt really hack alone? (He does with me but it has taken 3 years to gain his trust and get him happy alone - And only with me, a friend tried and had no joy.....)
