Following the post about good horsey novels, I have also seen a series of books called 'Hearlands'.

I am having a real problem trying to work out which books are suitable for adults - are Heartland books for teenagers or adults?

Also, is the Caroline Akrill trilogy suitable for adults?

I don't mind trash books (eg, Riders), but don't want to buy something for teenagers!

any other good book recommendations? or biographies?

I think heartland books are for adults and children. I've read them all and am no child LOL

I'm 16 and have read nearly all of the Heartland books. They are mainly for children but would suit anyone who loves horses.

Atm I am reading this book called 'chosen by a horse' [a memoir] and it's really good but I've heard the ending is sad. I recommend it to you though x
