Hello!
Hoping someone will have a suggestion about this...
My horse, 14 years old, middleweight cob who has hunted all season, has developed an odd heat on the bottom of both his front cannon bones. It is on the inside, where the splint bone and the cannon bone taper together- so just above his fetlocks.
Both legs are the same temperature, he is sound as a pound. They have been like it for a few weeks, no better and no worse, but as he is in no pain or discomfort it doesn't seem worth getting the vet.
Anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks xx
