I have noticed that if my horse gets too hot under her rugs, she'll break out in heat bumps along her back. She's quite a warm thoroughbred, and we have learnt this recently.
I have cleaned all of my rugs, ready for winter to try and prevent this however I was wondering if there was anything else I could do to help prevent these heat bumps? Anything I could put inside of her rugs etc.
I am open to all ideas and advice
Thanks!
