I am going away for a few days, left my boy at ten o clock, sound, two hours later his carer jumps him [experiemced!], , reports he has a problem, thanks!
Went back up he's got a leg. I have kept him in and put on an animalintox and one Danilon, what do I do now, I am due to go away, should he stay in or go out?
It is not too severe, and he will not gallop about, I hope.
If I was here, I would hose twice a day and wait till no heat or swelling,

least he has got A leg :D

personally i wouldnt go away.

and what is animalintox .. us novices are a bit clueless hehe

Tbh if it were my lad I would leave out, moving around will stop the leg from filling, stabling will likely increase the swelling, keep him on danilon for a couple of days and just give him time off! x

let him move it - if he is in it will seize up - more he moves looser it will become.
as carer to go and hose him - after all it happened on her watch!

I don t have any choice, have to go, I can get someone to look after him, like the girl who buggered him for example!
"done a leg" is racehorse speak for "strained a ligament", sorry did not realise it was not in general use.
No vet required, I know what should be done, just very difficult to look after him and check him from 200 miles away
Animalintox is a poultice, I thought everyone knew that !

They are taking the piss :( they cant help themselves (animalintex) If he isnt hopping lame and it is only heat in the leg, turn him out and give time off,as girl above said, get sharer to hose leg whilst you are away..am sure he will be fine!x

If you suspect damage to soft tissue then keep him in the box, hose as often as possible and put at least a stable bandage on. Preferably get a vet to check and maybe scan so you know exactly what you are dealing with or just treat as a leg and go from there.

Its not a filled leg which occur in a stabled horse, it is a ligament injury, so should be bandaged and hosed four times a day for twenty minutes, but as I am not there I can't do it, and obviously the "girl" has stuck him in his stable and left the scene.
No point in a vet to tell me what I already know.
