Have decided I would like to invest in heat lamps for drying off wet horses.
Any suggestions where to get them cheapest, how many I'll need or anything else to bear in mind? Would prefer portable

I have heat lamps in the dog room - if you are on metered electricity, do be aware that they are expensive to run.

hi yes any sort of agricultural place or country store will have them yes they can be expensive to run and make sure where you are going to hang them is a safe enough heighht that the horse won't have contact as they get very hot there are lots of different bulbe for them so look about for a cheep low watt one. i know of someone who has a stable that they use for washing down and drying its a brick built building and both top and bottom doors get closed to make it worth while using it. other than that go for it
