Was it his character that said 'duh - its a lance!'

No, that was the Ginger guy, I forget his name at the moment but he was really funny.

A friend just text me to tell me. I am in shock, he seemed like a genuine guy and a great acting talent. I love Brokeback and A Knight's Tale (red haired guy is Alan Tudyk, great in Serenity) is one of my favourite films. It will be so strange watching the new batman film now, so sad to think he will not go on to make more great films and be there for his daughter.

RIP Heath.

Absolutely gutted, I was a huge fan of his...

He was one of those actors who genuinely seemed down to earth, and kept out of the media spotlight.
Thoughts to his family, and his little daughter. RIP.

I too was gutted when I heard the news and it is so very tragic.
Brokeback Mountain was an excellent film and made me cry watching it.
A Knight's Tale was very good too.
Brilliant actor and with exceptional looks as well.
A tragic, tragic loss as he had so much more to give

It would seem that he was terribly depressed after the break up of his relationship. Apparently had become very withdrawn and almost recluse like, which would indicate that he was the guy that everyone thought he was, sensitive etc. Now, I'm a 39 YO man (no brokeback here), and when I saw the news, I just thought "[****], what a total total waste, of what seemed to be just a really nice bloke" (quite talented as well).

There it is.............................

i could not believe my ears when i was in the gym and heard this on the radio this morning, it is so sad, he was so young as well as being very talented and gorgeous, so very tragic, a loss to the acting world, RIP Heath

I'm utterly shocked by this news! I LOVE "10 Things I Hate About You", he was great in that. I really all his films I saw, I thought he was exceptional in "Four Feathers". In interviews he came across as a really normal guy next door type..... Such a bloody waste of a life and talent yet untapped.... My heart goes out to his family and friends...... that little girl won't know her Daddy now will she, just the face and all the news on his death.....

RIP Heath
