Heather Moffat is coming to my yard to give a demo and then a full days clinic. I had been thinking of having a lesson with her but the lesson are £60 each which is more than half what I budget for lessons in any month so I was swithering.

However, last night the yard owner asked if I would be interested in being a guinea pig for the demonstration and I was so excited about a) being asked and b) not having to pay that I immediately said yes. However, in the cold light of day when I (suddenly) realised I'd have to have this free lesson in front of 200 paying spectators, I'm pooping my pants. Do I really want all my riding faults pointed out in front of all those people?

Tell me it's a great opportunity and I should definitely do it please!

yeah. even if she does point out faults thats the idea of it as she is there to help you correct them and progress! and will prob also highlight your stronger points as well

Ive been one and it was good, she was really nice and because its so interesting you soon forget about the people watching. Bet you have great time

It's a great opportunity and just go for it.

The thing is. No one will be there looking at you and saying "Oh my god, look how crap she is" they will be there learning from you and you will be learning and will be able to show off your beautiful horse
