Am thinking of going back to treeless (long story but can't seem to find a treed saddle that fits my boy properly), I used to have a Barefoot Cheyenne that I loved but I'm concerned that I might feel a bit 'straddled' with the lack of twist after having ridden in a treed saddle again for some time. Then I remembered there is a Hipsaver pad that some people use - does anyone here have a hipsaver pad, if so does it make a difference and give the saddle more twist? I'd really like a Freeform treeless as I believe they do have more twist but hardly ever seem to come up secondhand

I had a hipsaver, it did narrow the saddle but it tipped me forward so I got rid of it. I used it on a HM Fhoenix.

Thanks c2B, I thought the Heather Moffett saddles already had memory foam in the seat, wonder if this is why you were tipped forward? At least it did narrow the seat but not good if it unbalanced you.

Anyone else?

I used one on a HM Phoenix - it definitely did narrow it a bit. I had to give up riding (for other reasons) & sold my riding horse - so will have both saddle & hipsaver for sale!
