What do you guys think before I part with some hard earned cash.
I have a 14.1hh Highland mare - back like a table and currently have a wintec wide and a almost brand new Ideal WH looking for a new home.

I have got one of these and find it very comfortable. Both my horses seem to prefer it too, and have tried it on several friends horses with success.

However, they don't tend to suit horses with very little wither and the dressage model did nothing to stop me going over the handlebars on Monday!

TBH your best bet is to try out the saddle yourself, as not every saddle suits everyone

Ive got one and so has my friend Three on here. Gen does have some wither but Domino (Three's horse) has absolutely none whatsoever. He is a veeeeery wide cob. I will get her to post what she thinks when she gets home (currently having Bowen with her neds atm), although I am sure she will be very positive.

...and as said above .... you could always trial one before you buy.

I have a dressage one and I love it! A friend at college has the GP version for her wee pony who is quite round and lacks wither and she's never said that she's had a problem.
Get one of the reps out and give one a good trial so you can see what you think

I've got one and I'd say the total opposite. They are better for horses with no wither than horses with a high wither. On wide, flat backed no withered horses they are the best solution. On high withered horses they can rub as you don't have the wither clearance of a treed saddle.

PS I'm selling mine because it doesn't suit my high withered arab - if you're interested PM me.

I love it - or actually (and rather more importantly!!) My cob does too.

No withers to speak of, back wide and flat enough to have a picnic on, shoulder the size of an... umm... very very large thing and all this on not quite 15.1.

This is him in it. Mike is 6'2 so you can see how much leg his width takes up!
