Heating my Shed

Hi all
My boxer sleeps in our shed at night - long story - but she live in kennel all her life until we got her and she just can not go the whole night without needing to go to pee... we tried everything and in the end we let her sleep in the shed and there is a dog flap so she can go out to pee when she needs to.

She is very hapy in there but now its got cold i need to find a way to heat it! Dont worry she has not been in there in this horrible weather - i have just come out of hospital from having a back operation so she has been staying in the kennels - she is coming home this weekend

So, to get ot the point - i have no electricity but need to find a way to heat it for her. Any ideas?

I have no issue with letting dogs sleep outside, mine are out at night and only get into the house perhaps once or twice a week.
However she is a bit more thinner skinned and lighter-haired than mine! Mine have a vetbed each in their kennel boxes for the colder weather but mostly dump them outside

They are lovely and cosy, though.

You could get a pig or chicken-rearing lamp (they usually have a clamp which you can attach to something) that you could hook up to the nearest electricity source via a cable?

And I think someone was talking about heat pads in Soapbox the other day?
 
Thanks - she is a bit of a whimp! My only problem is that the shed is too far from the house to run electricity to.

I am busy searching the internet too to see if i can come up with any ideas. I would like one of those heat lamps but i think they all need electricity to run them - shame.
 
You could put a hot brick in wrapped up in a towel, used to give one of these to my guinea pigs, old fashioned version of hot water bottle, give her something to snuggle up to
 
You could get an extra long extension cable and run it inside a hosepipe to protect it, and then you;d have electricity for a heat lamp.
