heavy horse owners

for those of you that ride your heavies did you find a full horse bridle fitted or did you have one made for you? do you know of anywhere that sells open ridding bridles in heavy sizes. i've always ridden in blinkers before so never needed one.

I have to get extra full, I have a stuben and a cheap requisite from robinsons, which i mst admit is a better fit with mils of room left than the stubben

Equestrian Clearance made my leather bridle for me as nothing fitted, several companies will make synthetic if you prefer.

When we had our clydie gelding we had to have one specially made as he was xxxlarge.

I got mine made as x-tra full didn't fit

I had to have mine made as X-full went nowhere near. Check out ebay - there are occasionally bargains to be had. I got a fantastic western bridle that was originally made for a Shire on ebay

I bought a full bridle, but had to buy and extra full noseband seperately.
