Heavy weight rugs from Tesco's.......

Went to Tesco's today "as you do" and in store they now stock some equestrian items, (great i thought, go to get some milk and come out with more horse gear) one being a heavy weight with neck turn out rug £79, and it looked very warm for the horse and well made...any one brought one??????

I bought one when they were reduced in the sale last year. I was really impressed with the quality. It fits well (very similar to the mark todd's I though), is very tough and the neck fits well too.

I think £79 isn't the best value you can get for a good HW turnout rug, i've been getting Orican HW Half Neck turnouts and Landa MW Full Neck turnouts much cheaper from my local saddle/feed place......................but 'apparently' I have a gift for bartering!!

Just bought a HW Weatherbeeta Orican Combo (Full neck) from Equestrian Clearance for £66 incl postage. Thought that very good value and prefer a decent brand like WB as some of the other cheaper makes I've used have fallen apart in weeks.

Think a friend has just bought a HW from Tesco/Lidl, I'm not sure which. It does look very nice, so might be worth a punt.

i bought a stable rug and it is fab, i was a bit concerned, and some other bits too so i recommend tesco however not their bandages!

hmm i don't actually think £79 is very cheap for an unknown brand...

i'd rather pay £20 more for a rug i know will last a long time as familiar with the quality / fit of said brand

you can get a WB taka combo for 69.99 on equestrian clearance !!

I bought some stuff from them in the summer and they were good quality. They had kids riding boots cheap so I bought some for my three neices and they are well used and still going strong.
