Heavyweight horse breeders and dealers?

do you mean HW cobs and hunters types or actual heavy horses? and would it be youngster or fully up and running? and for what level of rider person? sorry for all the qs but the answers prob different depending on which?

Well HW cob or hunter type really - something for a nice hack and one that will go over a jump too - not something too expensive - but something which will have plenty of bone and substance.

what age/height are you looking for?
Silversons Stud in notts has some very nice spanish normans who may fit the bill, but they are mainly foals/yearlings. Not sure on the price either tho. I think the owner of the stud is called Clair on here. http://www.silversons-stud.com/

Do you want one 'up-and-running' and ready to go, or would you be willing to bring on a youngster yourself?

Either - have brought on youngsters - sometimes prefer that as although you have to wait to ride you can get it how you want and they are sometimes cheaper.

If he still does so, my Ardennes X ID's breeder usually has a selection of Ardennes x, Clydesdale x, ID x. He is a hobby breeder but he has a very good eye.

They are very 'au natural' - bred and roam free in his 60 acres! So they are a 'fresh slate' for anyone wishing to bring on a sane youngster.

If he likes you, he tends to offer easy terms to his youngstock.
