Also i'm looking for a heavyweight combo for winter so that i've got it and don't have to panic last minute! whats the best brand for turnout rugs? i was thinking weatherbeeta but thought id ask advice of others first. Thanks:)

Here is a size chart for exercise sheets:

My 16.3 who took 6'6'' rugs was in xl equitheme exercise sheet if thats any help.

Regarding heavyweight TO, I would not buy any other make of turnout rugs than H Zone: http://www.hzone.co.uk/hzone-heavy-combo-turnout-29-p.asp (also sell ones with seperate necks-best ones in my opinion as the neck is such a generous fit it overlaps onto the rug so covers everything) The tail flaps are very large, They are very strong and durable (1 rug been on 2 serial rug trashers and still going strong) and come up really well in the wash and stay waterproof for a v. long time

I really rate H Zone rugs, I have rambo, amigo, shires and caldene but they are no where near as good as my H zone ones. Don't be put of by the price, they really are great.

I do not work for them, I am just a very happy customer!

Hi, my boy is in 6ft 6 rugs, and I have a 5ft mark Todd fleece lined exercise sheet that fits him spot on. I love my premier equine rugs they're fab, but you will probably need to go down a size as they come up generous.

My mare is 6ft 6 in rugs and has 5ft exercise sheets.

Best rug in my experience is the Rambo Duo with liners. So versatile, long lasting, hardwearing, washes up every year and more than once, like brand new every time. Such good rugs. I see a lot of rugs and I do rugwashing as my business! My Duo will be going into its 8th Winter this time...
