So yesterday we had our first gundog training session (the one I won in the auction a few months ago). It was with a chap called Peter Blatch who is based in Blatherwick and I can't praise him enough
He took Paddington, and I had Hector to begin with. Did some whistle training and recall and all in all they were great. He said both show promise so am really looking forward to next week now.
Oh, was supposed to be a 1 hour lesson bit ended up lasting 2 1/2 hour as we got chatting about different dog/horse folk we know and he is someone I could talk to and learn from all day!
Then in the afternoon my best friend and I took the boys to Burghley Game Fair which was fab. Boys were shattered and I just enjoyed a total dogfest of a weekend.
Here are some pics from Saturdays walk.
