Hector is broken again

Took him for a lovely hack today and he was great, felt perfectly sound, got home and untacked and suddenly he is dangling a leg in the air, he could barely walk to his stable and once inside stood in the corner looking very sorry for himself,

felt all over and couldnt find anything, left him for half an hour and then went back to see if any better but he looked worse, wasn eating, so i gave in and called the vet,

she came out immediatly, got his shoe of and had a good dig around looking for an absess but couldnt find anything,

she has polticed it hoping that some puss will come out, and her only other thought was that he had damaged his pedel bone

so fingers crossed we have some puss tomorrow and not a fractured pedel bone

he is never going to be 100% but cant have him like this poor chap

What with my mares rotating pedal bones I've quizzed my farrier about all things pedal related - If he has cracked it, it's not necessarily the end.
