O M G L!!!!!! Yesterday, I thought I'd treat H to his very own leather headcollar (MFH_09 has kindly lent me her yearling one all this time), BUT the one I bought was TOOOOO small - so I returned it earlier. Came back home, via another shop and saw a lovely narrow, yet padded leather pony sized headcollar (he has a padded pony size nylon one) that was in the sale for a tenner. Guess what - TOOOOOO SMALL!!!!! GAAAHHHHHH - This shop doesn't do returns - so I will try him with a COB sized one. He's only 9 months old (well he will be on Sat)!!!!!!!!

Awwww I'm gonna take some in the morning - in the FROST!! Well he's not quite in 6ft rugs. Yes the rug he has is a 6ft, but is does hang off his backside and I have put SERIOUS tucks/pleats in the shoulders, so he's probably about 5ft6ins tbh!

It would be a no brainer if I could take them TOO the new job, but on livery....... I know it's a GOOD job, but I'll be going from paying £64 a month for 2 horses, to approx. £100 a month EACH

Ha, join the club.

Jack was supposed to have a leather hc for his Christmas present. Having scoured nearly every tack shop in the country I cannot find a big enough one in extra full (including the £120 Jeffries jobs!). Am now having to have one made in the USA.....home of the big tall man and all that!!

Haha, bless her I think she was just wanting a nap in the sunshine!!
grin.gif
Still, she was showing the judges that she is going to be beautifull and calm for the dressage
grin.gif

As for getting lost-that was with my last horse- was getting lost and missing out fences all the time!

Even at a CCI* in Spain I got completely confused on the XC course and screamed at poor Ramon Beca to show me the way when I was half way round!

TBH that horse pulled like a freight train- all I could think about was staying on top in one piece rather then going in the right direction!! hopefully have grown out of that hair-brained phase now
tongue.gif
have never got lost on Owen!

I had the opposite problem with my old horse - a 16 hand thoroughbred that had to have a pony sized headcollar, his head was tiny!
It looked really funny when this little pony head looked over the stable door
