Hedgehogs

Cara has just had an altercation with an hedgehog in the garden. She went for it as it was nibbling one of her bones. It must have gone into defence mode and jagged her, she came in and i checked her for prickles. She was a bit frothy round the mouth like they get when they are going to chuck up. I just soaked a sponge and wiped around and inside her mouth.

Can she catch anything from them?

It was all over in a few seconds. she really was a bit shaken up and asleep now. Poor wee scone.

I don't think so - except fleas of course!! I'm sure she will be fine in the morning.

I did think of fleas but i think they would have had to be pretty fast jumpers lol Big tough dobermann girly ran like a good'un hee hee.
Don't know what it found to eat on the bone as she had stripped it lol

As above, check for parasites, they're full of them, yuck!!! My old bitch used to hunt them regularly and get very frustrated!
