does anyone know anything about the rules re this please, i was on the understanding it was for anything 14.2 and under this year and next year everyone has to have one. Any advice gratefully received please. thanks
1 As from 01/01/2007, ALL those wishing to compete exhibits within CHAPS (UK) HOYS Ridden Qualifiers, in a restricted height category, MUST have a current valid JMB Annual or Life Height Certificate a copy of which MUST be lodged with CHAPS (UK) Admin before a HOYS Competition Number will be issued for that exhibit.
2 As from 01/01/2007, all exhibits, 4 years old or over, which will compete within any CHAPS (UK) Finals (which carry an upper height limit) at the Championship Show MUST have a current valid JMB Annual or Life Height Certificate; a copy of which MUST be lodged with CHAPS (UK) Championship Show Secretary at time of entry to those Finals. Entries will not be accepted without this height certificate.
3 As from 01/01/2008 all horses and ponies, 4 years old or over, wishing to compete in any CHAPS (UK) height restricted Final, or height restricted CHAPS (UK) and HOYS Ridden Qualifiers, must have a valid JMB Annual or Life Height Certificate; a copy of which must be lodged with CHAPS (UK)
4 The CHAPS (UK) Height Certificate Form relevant to the above rulings which must accompany applications
for HOYS Comp Numbers from 01/01/2007 and CHAPS Championship Show Qualification Cards from
01/01/2008 can be downloaded from the CHAPS (UK) Website at www.chapsuk.com
