I can't imagine he'll make 15hands, more like 14 - 14.2. But I could be wrong! Here's a trick for you, try the string test. Get a measuring tape and start in the middle of his knee, run it down his leg as far as his coronet band. If the string test says 14 inches he'll make 14 hands, 14.5 inches he'll make 14.2hh etc. I've never known it to be wrong, and you can check it on fully grown horses!

14.2 wouldn't be too bad. I'm 5'7 so don't want to be to big for him. Would kill me if I had sell him for being to small.
OK I'll give that a go. Thanks for your help x

My 10 month old filly is 12.3 at the wither/13 hands at the bum. She is from a long line of 14.2's.
Grand dam- 14.2
Grand sire- 14.3 Sire- 14.2
Grand dam- 14.2 Dam- 14.2 at rising 4 (when I met her)
Grand sire- 14.2

There is no way she'll be 13 hh in a year, if she's 13 hh now.

She's a welsh cob.

Judging by my limited experience of my filly- I can't see yours being higher than 14hh.

I have a 15.0h adult welsh too, she was already 14.3 by the time she was 2.
