Heights for Olympic SJ

I have been advised by a friend that the max height in the show jumping will be 1.85 metres. She read it in this months Horse & Rider Magazine. I thought that she had misread the numbers but she then produced the article. I was gobsmacked as I was under the impression that this was the starting height for the HOYS Puissance? Does anyone know/can confirm what the heights will be. Thanks

the maximum height i believe is 1.65 but the spreads can be bigger i think.

I thought it was a 'liberal' 1.60m...but they do tend to build everything bang up to the limit and add an extra few cms to the spreads as well. The individual final might go a wee bit bigger too...and every line will be technical in the extreme.

I'm not saying that a superleague will look like a newcomers by comparison...but maybe a foxhunter

It is the ultimate event in the sport, and the max height is 1.65 with spreads up to 1.85.
