Ive just bought them. Really like them. Had a few problems with the first pony i came to clip as shes really fluffy and I just couldnt get the tension right so reverted to my mains clippers that ive had for years.
Went to clip my horse and mustve just got the tension right and had no problems.
Me thinks i will have to keep practicing to get the tension perfect to clip hairy beast!!
Regards noise, they are quite quiet, they weigh 1.2kg so the same weight as my Wolseley Swifts so im used to the weight. Really good for getting into the fiddly areas as you havent got to find a place for the cord.
Also my mates just bought a pair and loves hers so much shes selling her mains clippers.
Thanks for the feedback. Funnily enough, I am replacing my Wolsley Swifts which have finally given up so it's interesting to hear you make that comparison. Is the noise level similar or would you say the Heinigers are quieter out of interest?
I only bought the cordless clippers cos i thought that my big youngster would have a right paddy at my mains like she did last time so thought for safetys sake id invest in cordless ones. Well she stood like an angel so i dont know whether its the noise or the cable or what.
The noise is roughly the same - really hard to explain as its just different noise but on the same par to the swifts.
Just wanted to say thanks again for the feedback on these. I ordered them after your replies and am delighted with them. Did a full clip really easily and didn't need the spare battery I'd ordered. Blissful not having the cord in the way and a whole new experience to be able to have a conversation while clipping!
