Hi everybody, I posted a question a while back and got 280 ish views but only one reply? All the other threads I've seen seen to have quite a few replies so was wondering if I'm doing anything wrong? Or could some of you lovely people check out my thread? I'm very new to this haha thank you all x
 
Hello and welcome.

Don't take it too personally - other threads get started and don't get replies, they then disappear rapidly down the list of recent posts never to be seen again. I expect the people who viewed your thread simply didn't have anything to say that they thought was useful to you. The time of day you post can be pretty critical too.

There are some 'names' on here who are known to be particularly interesting or amusing and they tend to attract more views and comments, but I think everyone has a fair crack at getting attention on here. Worst case scenario is when it all gets a bit toxic. A couple of posters disagree and a flame war ensues.
