Rose's Reins

Hi everyone, I'm Rose. I'm from the UK and have three horses; a 14y/o TB mare called Fliss, a 14y/o Warmblood mare called Cally, and a 4y/o OTTB filly called Pepper. Cally is no longer ridden and just enjoys life in the field, Pepper is having a well-deserved break after being a racehorse until we rehomed her in April, and Fliss is my horse of a lifetime! This year we have started endurance and racked up 400 pleasure miles in total over the season. Fliss, as well as being a Thoroughbred, is a Chestnut mare... I get a lot of people who immediately think 'so she's difficult then?' Nope! I could not ask for a safer and more sensible horse; not a plod, but a lovely forward-going horse that does anything asked of her. Walking, trotting, cantering or galloping in open fields at the buckle end. She looks after my complete beginner husband, who is learning how to ride on her and, for him, she turns into a plod, bless her.
I also have my own company, Rose's Reins, which provides paracord products including tack, dog collars and leads, cat collars, and some handy products for us humans - survival bracelets, lanyards, and so on. It's wonderful to be able to do something that I enjoy immensely as a job and to also be able to design and make my own coloured tack for my girls.
