Hello and looking for a saddler in Berkshire

Hi there all. I've been lurking for a while, but thought I would brave sticking a toe into the 'posting' waters

Are there any good recommendations for saddle fitters in Berkshire who will adjust Flaired saddles? I have had recommendations from people on my yard, but their saddlers only seem to do conventionally flocked saddles

I have had someone out recently but was not at all impressed by her attidude or lack of professionalism. I explained that my horse had started complaining when saddled up and she commented that " perhaps he just has grumpy old horse syndrome"!!! She just didnt seem to be interested or really pay attention when I was riding him so she could see how he moved.

If you use someone who seems to care a bit more I would be delighted to know where to find them! Thanks!!

Whereabouts in Berkshire? Just over the border into Oxfordshire, Shaun fron Jods Galore in Henley is the only saddler I have always heard only good reports of, he's about the only person I would trust to fit saddles to my horses! I think he does flair saddles but not 100% certain. He's also very very popular and hence busyy but well worth waiting for, such a nice man.

Thanks for this. The yard is just south of Reading, so Henley isn't too far away. Fingers crossed he does Flair!

I've heard good things about Andrew Allen, but when I got in touch with him, he said he didnt have the tools needed to adjust a Flair saddle.
