I'm new to the forum, so let me quickly introduce myself...
My name is Jasja, born and raised in Amsterdam and the lucky owner of 2 wonderful horses. Before I bought my first horse, I said to anyone and everyone that if ever I was going to buy a horse, it would definitely be a Paint Horse gelding. So when the time came and I bought my very first horse... I bought an Arabian mare. My biggest and best impulse buy ever
. Then one day (after discussing several matters with my veterinarian) I decided that it was a good idea to have Escala bred, so one of my friend's picked a wonderful Arabian stallion and Escala was bred to Krimh. Of course I was not going to keep the foal, I said to anyone and everyone that I was going to sell the foal as soon as he could be weaned. So when the time came to wean Eclipse... ok, I didn't make it quite that far, on the day he was born, I heard myself say: "Oooooohhh!!! He's so sweet I'm going to keep him!".
Escala is now 25, enjoying life at a friend's farm in the north of the Netherlands, and Eclipse is now 13 and lives at a large stabl 12 kilometers away from me .
