What the title says!

I thought I was a dog expert, until I recently adopted one after a 15 year gap. I am a complete, and utter greenhorn!

I expect I'll be here a lot, seeking help from all you experienced owners and handlers. I promise to try not to become too much of a pest!

Thank you. I know! This is my first dog since becoming a 'grown-up'. I waited ten years until the kids were older - more time to dedicate to looking after a dog.
It's pretty much like being a first time dog owner.
