Hi

Just joined the forum so thought I'd say a quick hello. I currently ride with a group doing historical diplays. Only been riding for a few years so thought I'd join to get some helpful tips and meet some like minded people:)

Looking forward to contributing to some of your discussions.

Cheers

Rob

Hi Rob,

Im not too far from you, I'm at Ashby De La Zouch.

Nearest I have got to any kind of re-enactments was watching the Knights of Nottingham practice jousting and the quoit up at Bunny Hill stables after the riding lessons (quite a few years ago) and seenig them at Belvoir Castle at their show, very entertaining they are too :D

Hello and welcome from North Shrops! We used to live in Yorkshire near Tadcaster where apparently a really bloody battle had taken place (during the War of the Roses?) so we used to get a lot of historical and re-enactment groups. Funny how quickly the horses got used to the sound of muskets!

Lol, yeah. Ours are quite bombproof now. They're fine with bangs from the pistols and cannon but hate the big flags

HELLLOOOOO!! From just down the A38 in sunny Burton on Trent!

Ooh, quite close then. Where abouts do you ride?

Hello from Worcestershire! Don't suppose it was yourself doing the jousting at Warwick Castle was it?

When? At Easter? No unfortunately not, I was doing some stuff at Warwick Inl riding school, though some of my group were at the castle jousting. Its good fun!
