Hello,
I am looking for an advert that would have run sometime in November 1990. Does anyone have the back issues from then?
3 weeks ago I lost my dear old TB who was purchased in November 1990 from an advert in the Horse and Hound. It was a small photo advert that just said 15.2hh 4yo Chestnut TB gelding for sale, lots of character.
The phone number was a Windsor/Slough number (0753 or similar).
I would love have 2 copies of the magazine to keep now he's gone and H&H archives cannot search but if I can identify the actual issue the ad ran in will help.
They did not misrepresent him, he was a huge character and very naughty to the end but he always made us laugh and we adored him.
The issues that month were dated 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th Nov 1990
