HI there,

Joined here so we can ask lots of questions of you all! my daughter 16 is looking for her own steed. I grew up riding and we had a small riding stables near Shrewsbury with a beginners country course that my dad built. I did PC and camps/ gymkhanas etc no really big fancy competitions but just local shows etc. I owned 3 horses growing up in that time that all went on to be brilliant. I have not ridden consistently for about 25 years but getting lots of practice now trying out ones for my daughter.
Will be at a local DIY stable.

Hello and welcome!

I'm another from your neck of the words (slightly!) as in between Whitchurch and Malpas; well originally from Croydon but that's long forgotten now, I've been up here since '71! I'm also about to embark on riding again after nearly ten years - where the hell did that go?! - as I concentrated on breeding some nice sport horses/hunters; now I only have one home bred left here plus a coloured yearling soon to be gelding and a young Dales Pony I'm about to break. He is lovely, such a character but I do worry he'll be too wide for my old hips as he's like a table top, saddle fitting will be a nightmare!
