Hello, having been horseless for 8 years I have suddenly stepped back on the equine never ending expense roundabout. I don't know how I managed it but in short I was feeding/grooming 2 coloured ponies in a nearby field that had been left in their summer grazing field. The owner turned up Christmas eve to collect them and I asked him if he would let the 'little one' go and he said no but had an 'hoss' that I can have for nothing. I followed the said owner back to his field a couple of villages away and was taken into an 80 acre field with lord knows how many horses/ponies/foals/yearlings.. I was given a choice of 4, 2 which were free of charge and 2 older coloured ponies of which there was a small charge.
So I had a decision to make, I can only have one due to my circumstances.
I have chosen and agreed to buy an older one (rising 4 Years)
I am looking for a DIY Livery nearby and a vet to get him gelded.
The chap said I could have him gelded in his field but would rather have him in a safe secure location where I can look after him.
Oh well back to horsey happiness :)
